31st August WORC Members’ Pleasure Ride & Bar BQ – Asthall Farm, Kencot
5th October WORC Members’ Dressage - Venue tbc

PLEASURE RIDE, QUIZ & BAR-BQ
Nigel Walker has kindly agreed to let us use Asthall Farm, in Kencot (GL7 3QT) for the Pleasure Ride on 31st August. This will be open to members’ only and it is hoped that riders of every level will be able to have a go. The idea is that you will ride in pairs and throughout the course there will be a fun quiz for riders and one for Bar-BQers to have a go at. This is not meant to be a competitive event – just a bit of fun to round off the summer.
As it is open to everyone, the club will subsidise this event to keep costs as low as possible, but we do need to know in advance how many are coming – so no entries on the day!
Cost is £10 per rider including Bar BQ or £3 for non-riders who just want the Bar BQ – please use the booking form at the back of this newsletter. MEMBERS’ DRESSAGE SERIES
To complete the Members’ Dressage series for 2008, we hope to be able to confirm the date as 5th October. It will be on a surface at Hill Farm, or possibly Worton Farm, Cassington. Full details plus the schedule will be attached to September newsletter.
